Additional acts 2007 (continued).
Trilogy
Trilogy
are 3 accomplished & polished musicians, playing a refreshing mix of acoustic
rock, folk. jazz & blues. The line-up is Tony Graham, long established as a
local entertainer on the folk, pub & club scene, Mick Sadler, new to this area,
having played mostly in blues bands and Eddie Wright, a trained bass man,
resurrecting his love of music. The interplay of the acoustic guitars of Mick &
Tony adds a fresh angle to the 2 guitar set up. Based in Southwell, this trio
got together last year and their arrangements of Standards has quickly
established them as a local tour de force in pubs & clubs throughout the area.
Anna Elias and the Forlorn Hope
Anna
is known to many as the voice of legendary band Bodixa who played the Acoustic
stage of Glastonbury festival in 2005. Following national tours and a move to
Southwell last year, Anna is currently developing an acoustic solo project which
will showcase her own songs. Anna’s music has been described as ‘stunning,
fragile and uplifting’ and the Sunday night set will be the first opportunity to
hear her new solo material. She will be supported by guitarists Nic Vocaturo and
Harvey Elias. >website<

10 o’clock Horses
A
lively lot, performing Folk Punk to Calypso, Raucous rhythms to Reggae.
Consisting of no less than a violinist, acoustic guitarist, banjoist, a drummer,
a vocalist, a bassist and a saxophonist, they are best described as ‘the people
your mother warned you about’! The band seem to throw themselves almost
self-sacrificially into the heat of an event in the name of the ‘Gods of Live
Music and Beer’! >website<
