Jo comes from a pioneering background in folk and acoustic music, having performed live as part of Blowzabella, The Old Swan Band, Token Women, Scarp, and previously as a duo with Kathryn Locke, Pete Morton and in recorded collaborations with Lal Waterson, Annie Williamson and Anne Lister. Jo is now focusing on her solo performances and her trio with Jude and Neil from Chumbawamba.

These shows feature her lyrical and instrumental compositions accompanied by keyboard and the use of live looping which adds an exciting new element as well as allowing her multi-instrumental skills to shine in a solo environment.
