Sorry – but due to the anticipated high demand for caravan space, awnings will NOT be permitted. This may be relaxed if space later allows or if there are specific extenuating circumstances. If the latter applies, please explain when you call to book your place.
Yes, space permitting. However cars must remain on the campsite for the duration of the festival. If you wish to use your car during the festival you must park in the Day Parking field. Tents must be positioned at least 3m apart and caravans/motorhomes at least 6m apart.
Yes but please do not use cooking stoves or naked flames inside a tent.
Fires and disposable barbecues are not allowed on any site. Barbecues will be allowed provided they are constructed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and are at least 18 inches off the ground. We suggest you have a bucket of water or fire extinguisher nearby. At no time should the barbecue be left unattended. Stewards have the right to request a barbecue to be extinguished if deemed hazardous.
Easthorpe News will be selling basic provisions and newspapers on site.
There is a BP Petrol Station and Shop about 5 minutes’ walk from the
Festival Site. Southwell is a market town with all usual shops and
facilities.
Only dogs required to assist people with disabilities will be admitted into the Festival Site. Those bringing caravans or motor homes may bring dogs as long as they are kept outside the Festival Arena and are kept on a lead at all times.
Yes, although if we experience bad weather, the ground itself may be difficult to negotiate. Stewards are there to help you. Disabled parking is available and disabled camping, close to the site, can be provided on application.
The Pathfinder 100 bus departs from Queen Street in Nottingham and terminates in Southwell. There are some trains from Nottingham Station to nearby Fiskerton (approximately 2 miles) but you will then need to wait for a 29 bus to connect to Southwell.
There are concerts in the Minster on Thursday evening and Friday afternoon. Concerts on the festival site will begin at approximately 5pm on Friday. It is intended to open the bar on the main site on Thursday evening ( subject to licensing).
There will be open mic sessions in the Children’s Marquee on the main site. An area will also be allocated on the main site for informal sessions. Pub sessions will take place in the three pubs close to the site – The Old Coach House, The Hearty Goodfellow and The Bramley Apple. Please visit our website nearer to the date. The festival programme will confirm details.
