Volunteer Stewards for 2012 Wanted!

This year’s application form has been changed slightly and is available to download here. You can apply to help with the set-up and clear down as well as working at the weekend. It is also very useful if you can add some personal information about relevant skills or previous experience.

We need about 160 volunteer stewards to manage the festival, not only during the event itself but also before and afterwards. You must be reliable, confident and enjoy working with others. You need to be at least 18 years of age on 31st May 2012 and be willing to work 4 hours per day. Above all you will be an Ambassador for the Festival and a source of information for our visitors. In return you will receive a FREE Stewards’ pass which admits you to all events (space permitting), FREE camping and a FREE programme as well as having a great time!

What duties can I expect?

This year, all volunteer stewards will work as part of a team under a Team Leader and you will work in the same area all weekend. There will be four main teams – Stages, Fringe, Office and Site.Your leader will allocate your specific times and duties.
