On the festival site and around the town, dance displays will feature a wide variety of folk dance styles (they don’t all like to be called Morris!).

There will be a dance procession at 10.45 on Saturday, starting from the Saracen’s Head an finishing at the Burgage featuring the following sides:

After the procession the dancers will dance at various venues around the town.
Saturday dance venues include The Crown, King Street outside the Admiral Rodney, Onestop and the Dry Cleaners, The Bramley Apple, the Burgage and the Festival Site dance area. Dance programmes will be available from the Festival information tent to help you find where each side is performing.
Final leg of the Gate to Southwell Procession from Nottingham
Leaves the Old Coach House Pub at c4.30pm to the Minster.
Sunday morning 10.30am Border Morris workshop led by Poacher Morris on the Festival site dance Area.
Sunday afternoon - Dance Extravaganza at the Workhouse at 14.00hrs
- an exciting display with many of the dance sides. Also dancing at the
Newcastle Arms.
