Around the town
Open air concerts, dance displays and street theatre will feature throughout the weekend at various venues around the town.
These include the historic Minster, the Market Square (adjacent to the Wheatsheaf Inn [1]) and five other characterful pubs - The Admiral Rodney Hotel [2],The Saracens Head Hotel Courtyard [3], Bramley Apple [4],The Hearty Goodfellow [5] and The Old Coach House [6]. You can also be sure of many impromptu music/song sessions in those congenial hostelries.
The adjacent National Trust Workhouse hosts a variety of workshops and dance displays. Picturesque Southwell is an historic town with many interesting buildings, a heritage trail and excellent eateries and is well worth the short ten minute walk from the festival site.
